Silene nocturna L., it is an annual herb to 50 cm tall; stems erect, wand-like, simple or branched, 0.75-1.5 mm diam. Leaves oblanceolate, ciliate. Flowers in subsecund, spike-like, monochasial cymes, white to pink, sometimes. Life Form: Th, Flowering in: Mar-Jun, Vern:————-, Phytochoria: MED+SA, The native range of this species is Macaonesia, Medit. to Arabian Peninsula. Notes: Wild in Libya.
