Blue damselfish / Sapphire devil

Distributed off of the Kii Peninsula and southwards, India, and the Western Pacific Region. It is bright blue, and commonly seen in shallow coral reef areas. You can identify the gender by the color of its tail. A male’s tail is blue while a female’s tail is clear. Male blue damselfish are known to be territorial and very aggressive.
