Owen tal-Ajkla

I was listening to Norman Vella on Radio 101 while driving home yesterday, and Zaren tal-Ajkla rang in to hector him, insult the Nationalist government of yesteryear (quoting the Labour Party’s propaganda) and praise the Labour Party.

Immediately, another man rang in from Zejtun. Isn’t it obvious Zaren tal-Ajkla is going to say that, he said. He’s one of Owen Bonnici’s biggest supporters. Owen Bonnici is his cousin.

The thought of Owen tal-Ajkla kept me amused all the way home.
