Mindful Tech World: An Interview with Daniela C Merlano, Founder of ThrAIve

Are you curious about the intersection of AI and emotions? Do you want to learn more about how technology can be used for good? Look no further than Digital Women Live on March 22nd, where Daniela C Merlano, Founder of ThrAIve, will be sharing her expertise on using AI for emotional healing. In this interview, we sit down with Daniela to learn more about her background, her session, and her thoughts on the future of the digital and tech industry.

Q: First off, can you tell us your name and what company you work for?

A: My name is Daniela C Merlano and I am the Founder of ThrAIve.

Q: Can you tell us a little bit about your background and experience in the digital and tech industry?

A: I am a Positive Psychologist and Master in Positive Psychology & Coaching. I have been working in the field for over 5 years, and my mission is to create a more empathic world. I am currently using AI CLIP tools for emotional purposes and to improve people’s wellbeing.

Q: Can you tell us a little bit about your session at Digital Women Live and what attendees can expect to learn?

A: Sure! My session is called “Mindful Tech World – Use case of AI and Emotions.” I will be discussing how to create a more empathic world by using technology in a mindful way. Attendees can expect to learn about how AI and emotions intersect, and how to use AI for good. I believe that the web3 space is an opportunity to share and reset our culture values, such as transparency and fairness, which will move towards a more empathic world.

Q: Can you share with us the most exciting thing you’ve seen or experienced in digital and tech over the last 12 months?

A: The most exciting thing I’ve seen in digital and tech over the last 12 months is starting my new life in the web3 space. It has been a whole life-changing experience for me.

Q: What are your predictions for the next 12 months in digital and tech?

A: My prediction for the next 12 months in digital and tech is that web3 and AI will become buzzwords, and that the recession will bring more focus on business models and problem-solving projects. I also believe that the number of projects in the market will decrease, but it will set better grounds for existing projects that care about purpose.

Q: What challenges do you feel you may be facing in the coming years with your role / business?

A: Personally, my challenge is to be a successful entrepreneur as a Latam-Woman in the Mental Health and Tech space. Also, as I am understanding a positive use case of AI NLP Systems to improve wellbeing, I also have to consider the downside on carbon footprint for AI projects and find a balance between the two. Additionally, automated roles will bring the challenge of redefining work and capacities and skills for new jobs. But, I believe that the positives are that GenZ are used to self-crafted careers and finding available information to grow, so this change might benefit them naturally.

Q: What do you love about Digital Women events?

A: Is my first event, though I have been following Lucy’s journey, and I admire the humility of building such a strong community and keeping herself empathic and kind.

Q: Please provide us with links to your social media channels and company website:

A: My LinkedIn is https://www.linkedin.com/in/daniela-c-merlano-/ and my company website is https://www.thraive.io/
