Briefs: NEOM unveils Siranna; Kempinski signs luxury hotel, residences in China

NEOM UNVEILS SIRANNA: NEOM has announced Siranna, an exclusive tourism destination and the latest destination to be unveiled by sustainable regional development in northwest Saudi Arabia. Located along the Gulf of Aqaba coastline, the ultra-luxe destination will have a 65-key hotel and 35 exclusive residences. The multi-tiered property will offer views of the Red Sea with hexagonal pillars. The property will include a signature beach club, spas, wellness facilities and dining and entertainment options. Siranna will be built while ensuring minimal intervention in nature, with the architecture paying homage to the heritage of the local area and blending into the adjoining mountain and wadi.

KEMPINSKI SIGNS LUXURY HOTEL, RESIDENCES IN CHINA: Kempinski Hotels has signed a management agreement for a luxury hotel and residences complex in Xiong’an, China. The project is owned by Xiong’an Xiongshang Real Estate Co. Ltd. Located about 100 kilometers southeast of Beijing in the Hebei Province, the property will have 403 guestrooms and suites along with 121 residences. The hotel will have a ballroom with more than 1,000 square meters and several meeting rooms, an indoor pool, spa, gym, an all-day dining restaurant, a beer house, lobby bar, deli and a Chinese restaurant. The new-build property is scheduled to open by the end of 2026. Currently, Kempinski has 19 hotels and residences across Greater China.

PM HOTEL GROUP GROWS TEXAS PORTFOLIO: PM Hotel Group, the Washington, D.C.-based hotel management company, has been selected to manage the Holiday Inn Dallas Market Center. The addition of the hotel to PM Hotel Group’s portfolio marks the company’s expansion in Texas. The hotel is set to undergo renovation and convert to a Holiday Inn Express. The hotel will feature 210 rooms and more than 6,000 square feet of event space. Currently, PM Hotel Group operates 70 properties across the U.S.

ACCOR TO OPEN MÖVENPICK IN POLAND: Accor and Allenort Group have signed an agreement for a new hotel and service complex in Gdynia, Poland. The Mövenpick-branded hotel will be located in the city center, by the sea, in Gdynia. Mövenpick Hotel Gdynia will have 176 rooms, two restaurants, a sky bar, 460 square meters of space, a spa with a pool and multiple treatment rooms and underground parking space. The hotel is slated to open in 2026. HIDA Co. has provided business advisor support to the investor. The complex, where the hotel will be situated, will include two buildings connected by a walkway and Waterhall Residence apartments.

SIX SENSES TO THE CARIBBEAN: IHG has unveiled the Six Senses La Sagesse in Saint David, Grenada. The resort has 56 pool suites, which have been made using natural, renewable and repurposed materials. The rooms have open-plan bedrooms, each with an outdoor terrace leading to a private plunge pool. The property also has 15 villas offering hillside or beachfront settings, ranging between one-, two- and four-bedroom units. The property features multiple dining venues, a spa with fitness facilities, treatment rooms and a shared wet area with a panoramic sauna, hot pool, cold plunge pool and therapy pool. The resort marks the debut of Six Senses in the Caribbean and is slated to open in May 2024.
