Our last night in Mexico and we had no clue where to eat and what to eat. In Progreso, many small restaurants close early while the big and fancy ones close late. We wanted something less fancy and came across this place. Remember to put on bug spray at night as we were getting bitten left and right as we ate with a boardwalk and beach view. Tried the Mexicana pizza and it was delicious! Thin crust, jalapeño gave it a kick, and it filled us both up! Give this place a chance and you won't regret it!

To be fair we did not eat here so I can't speak about the food. We walked to this restaurant based on yelp reviews but once we got there it was empty of customers. The real turn off was the music was so loud and the employee was pushy in getting us to eat there.
Most of the restaurants on the malecon are the same in pushiness to get clients. I would not return to Progreso due to the constant vendors.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Renee L.Downey, CA21116247May 6, 2022
Love their coconut shrimps! I crave to go back to Progresó for this. Plenty to share. Shrimp tacos r good as well. Ask for the drink of the day. They also have the special combo of the day. It was pizza and beer for M$80 but we didn't want a pizza so ordered the usual.

Food:5 stars, Wine:2 stars. I hope management considers this review because this clean, well located restaurant on Progreso malecón could become The Place for seafood. The well-priced fish filet with vodka-orange juice flambé was s outstanding! An okay white wine was way overpriced at 100 pesos for an average pour. Two of the three already opened bottles of red wine were turning bad. Somebody fix the wine situation and we will be regulars!
