Mirli Gastwirtschaft

A real weekend tip close to the city: Gasthaus Mirli, found quite far back in the Irenental, not only has a catchy name, but also the most beautiful terrace in the vicinity of Vienna. This classic inn is located in a large field near the forest with a tremendous panoramic view.

The menu offers local and seasonal specialties, the kitchen is quite small and one must expect pretty long waiting times on a sunny Sunday. Gasthaus Mirli is a family hotspot with a playground, but it's also frequented by hikers and mountain bikers. Groups are welcome, a reservation is recommended though.

Dieses Lokal bekommt von mir wegen seiner fantastischen Lage immer noch 5 Sterne!
Die neuen Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und bemüht und die Karotten-Ingwer-Suppe und die wirklich hausgemachten Mohnnudeln, in deren Eig man noch die Erdaepfelstueckchen schmecken konnte, waren wirklich fein! Und dann sass ich 3 Stunden bei einem Kaffee auf der Terrasse und liess den Blick schweifen...
