See, that’s what the app is perfect for.

Sounds perfect Wahhhh, I don’t wanna

Moar Updates!

First of all, I’ve added most of the Friendly Encounter Monsters to the main enemy list. I’m not going to name all those creatures here, only some of them will be spoken about.

I’ve also removed some creatures, mainly the Arrach again, I think it takes the specialty away from the Ashi-Magari.

Source: http://monsters-and-beasts.proboards.com/thread/13/world-building-project

Agloolik – These good-guys have the form of giant rune/tattoo-covered seals. They help gentle people with fishing or protect them from monsters. Agloolik can control weaker animals with their minds, leading fishes into nets or out of them.

Amazon – While these warrior women are friendly towards your female heroes, they sometimes attack your male characters without provocation.

image

AoAo – I’ve switched the Erymanthian (never liked that name) for the AoAo. These low-level boar-monsters will never give up the chase, and fleeing when one of these annoying creatures is on the battlefield is not possible, they block fleeing. AoAo’s body adapt for the any chase, when prey/enemies flee through the air the AoAo grows wings for flight and if prey escapes through the water the AoAo’s body will automatically spawn gills.

Chapa – These intelligent and gentle beavers are very creative and can create many items from wood. They are life savers, but only if the victim is of good nature.

Charite – Always cheering and being extremely happy until it almost gets annoying, the Charite are beautiful angels which cheer for other creatures. They try to bring peace and happiness anywhere they go. Of course this makes them regular targets of evil creatures. Protect them from dying in battles and they bless your team with gifts, items or spells.

image

Cynocephali – These dog-headed humanoids are very loyal and gentle, they mostly become knights or Paladins and protect towns from harm and monsters. They only attack your team if you have an undead or demonic creature in your team (and since you can capture and tame monsters in my project, the chance you have one of those monsters in your team is there…)

image

Abere – Now that the Radande has left the Dryad group, I’ve added these aquatic Dryads. Abere are flesh-eating dryads which control all forms of water plants, they are also called Swamp Dryads.

Dvergr – Your typical LOTR/D&D dwarves are these in my project.

Ek Chapat – Half demonic humanoid, with the lower body of an enormous centipede, Ek Chapat have a psychic disease which makes them very changeable in attitude, they have 7 personalities in which they often switch rapidly, all 7 of these personalities talk to each other, and seeing these creatures have rapid conversations with themselves is very disturbing. They also riddles and often ask them to other creatures, having a bad answer means the Ek Chapat wants to destroy you.

Erote – All these baby-faced, child-like angels want is to spread love. Erote shoot random enemies, which then temporally join their side. Erote’s can also link creatures together, these temporary love-couples can’t attack each other and gain a free attack against anything whom attacks it’s bound soul mate.

Brownie – These sweet and caring creatures are actually family members of the vile Goblins. Brownies are everything the Goblin is not. Brownies never care for themselves, they are always found in dirty and ruptured clothes, but they care very much for other creatures, making their clothes very beautiful and leaving their favorite household with presents each morning. Goblins hate Brownies and attack them on sight, but the Brownie still have hope for their evil brethren.

image

Hahakigami – While these animated broom Tsukumogami aren’t evil they suffer from obsessive-compulsive personality disorder, they hate and attack any dirty creature they find in their chosen environment and love to keep that special place of them very clean and beautiful.

Caliburn – Also known as Excalibur, these good-natured, evil slaying sword Tsukumogami are often found near angels or other holy creatures. Caliburn can sense the alignment of other creatures and attack any evil creature (also your captured evil creatures) with pure passion. Caliburn can give all the weapons of their allies holy properties, so they do more damage to demons and undead.

image

Skinfaxi – The only good natured Kelpie. Skinfaxi are the kelpies of the element of light and instead of killing their riders in horrid ways like their vile cousins, the Skinfaxi will bless their riders with healing and holy abilities, they can even resurrect their riders if they die. Skinfaxi are proud creatures however and only let paladins, angels or other very good-natured creatures ride them.

Kresnik – Hunters of monsters, the Kresnik are very spiritual humans which trained in special combat to kill off monsters, they hate lycanthropes, beastmen and vampires with a sick passion and enjoy killing them. If your own party has a monster (of any alignment) ally in the team they will be targeted by the Kresnik, if you come between this fight you will be the next target of the Kresnik as they have a distaste for allies of monsters. They are the witch hunters, the dragon slayers and killers of monsters.

image

Siren – Instead of the bird-women I used a while ago, the Sirens in my project are now winged mermaids, they are still vile though, using their beautiful voices to lure entire ships on the cliffs.

Monoceros – This is just the white unicorn you see in many media.

image

Muse – By far the most beautiful female humanoid in my project. These inspiring nymphs love art, poetry and music and freely inspire many artists and musicians around the world. Leanan Sidhe are the evil variants. Both variants of Muses have very bizarre clothes in my project, very visual, colorful and strange.

image

Ningen & Muldjewangk – Both are giant Merfolk, half humanoid and half whales. The Ningen are curious and gentle giants with pure white skin, they often attack other large sea monsters which target ships. Muldjewangk are the evil and carnivorous variants of the Ningen, they love to sink ships instead and do other evil stuff to humans before they devour them.

Panotti – Strange humanoids with enormous ears which they can use as a cloak. Their hearing is perfect and they can filter sound, so they are completely immune to the many sound/song-based attacks and spells in the game, they can bless their team-members with the same ability, so having these creatures in your team is very much worth it for the immunities they gain, too bad the Panotti aren’t really physical strong monsters.

Peri – The only gentle of the Genies (elemental spirits) which control the element of light. They have many spells of light and holy energy and their skin is pearl-white. While all Genies are genderless creatures the Peri still look like females most of the time, but male forms are also known to exist. It is said that the Peri were once sinful souls that were cursed into becoming a Peri, they must always be gentle, as if they fall back to their sins they are destroyed, so the Peri are unable to be evil.

Piskie + Danthienne + Ishigaq – Piskie are just your regular Pixie (yes Piskie is their more accurate name) beauties which love flowers and beautiful things.

Danthienne were once normal Piskies, but they fell from grace with vanity and self-adornment. They aren’t hostile, but will fiercely attack anyone who doesn’t compliment their appearance or clothes, they are always found looking at themselves in some sort of reflection or mirror, and many of these vain faeries are found in the service of Narcissus the Sinlord of Pride.

image

Ishigaq were also once normal Piskies, but they were cursed by the Snow Queen in becoming heartless and soulless cold beings. They are now ice faeries and they use sharp small icicles to attack the enemies of the Snow Queen with, they are devoid of emotions.

I’ve changed the name of the Kokogiak into Qupqugiaq, just because I want more creatures beginning with the Q.

Cerynitis – These beautiful white stags/deer have golden antlers and are covered in golden tattoos. They are very magical creatures and are protected by a blessing which protects these creatures against the first two attacks made against them, after that second missed attack the creatures can be hit. Sometimes when hit by an attack, an invisible force will attack the attacker as if a deity protects the Cerynitis. There is a chance that the creature/party member that killed the Cerynitis is cursed or blessed.

image

Tianlong – You know the Neverending Story? Well that dragon-dog thing, that is the creature I have in mind for the Tianlong, the only friendly dragon in my project.

Whintosser – Strange constructs created by insane Warlocks, they have legs all across their bizarre triangular-shaped bodies so they can walk in any direction with ease and switch direction in an instant. Though they aren’t living creatures, these constructs still feed on the flesh of their kills.

Zana – These guardian angels as they are also called are spawned from the imagination just like other Tulpa, but it takes part of the soul of a real angel to create one. Zana protect their creator with pure passion against any form of harm and will gladly sacrifice their own life to resurrect their creator back to full health.

Trenti + Radande + Inifri Duir – All these creatures are victims of the Fungus-like Kayeri, created from these vile creatures spores which corrupt the flesh of other creatures creating plant horrors which serve the Kayeri without hesitation.

Trenti were once gnomes, but the spores of the Kayeri turned them into fungi-infested horrors, they can spread their own spores to attack their enemies and love to create their own fungi-gardens in which they create the most powerful of potions.

image

Radande were once nymphs, infected by the spores these underground nymphs now can’t stand the sunlight they once loved so much. Radande in my project are much like the Fungus Queen of D&D called Zuggtmoy. They are much like the Dryads of fungi and the underground too, but they are plants and not nymphs anymore. They have many types of spore-abilities, but their most feared spores charm their enemies to their side and turn them into mindless slaves.

Inifri Duir were once trolls, these giant fungi-spawn have skin infested with all types of glowing mushrooms, toadstools, and other fungi. The Kayeri mostly use the Inifri as their personal bodyguards and they are mostly found with at least two Inifri Duir at their side. The mutable nature of the trolls skin clashes with the fungi and most of the Inifri Duir are very disfigured because of this. Being hit by their powerful fists will also mean you are being covered in their strength-draining spores.

Personal Top 100 Mythika Creatures

I began this blog with a huge top 100 of my favorite myth creatures, back then I didn’t know half of the creatures currently topping my Personal Top 100 of Mythika creatures.

This top 100 is about my projects creatures and their story/abilities, in the real mythology/folklore many of these monsters wouldn’t have made my top 100.

Mythology Foklore Mythika Fantasy Project Monster

Too much monsters isn’t good for your health.

VERY LONG POST ALERT:
I’ve added tons of mythology creatures to my project, also with the help of quirkybestiary!

Here is an update, I collected all creatures in their groups.

These all come from mythology or folklore (some are cryptids and aliens) but I changed some of them a lot to fit in my project. If you don’t like seeing Djinn, Golems and other religious creatures in projects, this post is not for you.

None of the artwork is from myself, some of them come from Pinterest so I couldn’t give good links (Yet). Once I find them I add them of course.

BOLD Creatures are Bosses / Unique Creatures in the Project/Game.

For a complete list of all the monsters check here: https://gancanagh22.deviantart.com/art/Monsters-From-Myths-and-Legends-736546147

Monster Olympics

Some fun little list-thingy.

I’m obsessed with making lists, like 99% (me being the 1%) is obsessed with traveling around the world or having luxury vacations, I’m obsessed and addicted to making useless lists nobody cares for and nobody can learn from. ;-)

In these countless lists are all monsters which are the most powerful of their kinds, this can be elemental-links, environments, game-sprites or stats.

All lists are from 5 (least) to 1 (best), and all monsters are from Mythika, not from the real myths they were taken from.
Also, I’ve left out the bosses and good-guys, for reasons as I don’t want every list to only contain the bosses, they are mostly more powerful than the normal enemies.

These creatures don’t make a difference between grow up and kids, and use the corpses of the children to torture the parents with, they slowly digest their prey, beginning with the legs, they make the most cruel of traps and devices or starve their prey for weeks, others like to spread the most horrid of diseases upon entire towns, or poison the water supplies. Mythology Folklore Creatures Monsters Fantasy Project Mythika cryptid long post

Final Monster/Enemies List

Finally, I made up my mind of what creatures do, and which don’t appear in my project. This time it feels more finished than other times. I cut a lot of creatures from the list and added a lot of new faces to the list.
I’ve added some small sentence underneath each creature, giving only one small example of what makes them special and awesome in the project.

This list doesn’t contain the bosses/unique creatures and friendly creatures, they will be posted later, working on them.

Again, most of these creatures come from Mythology, Folklore, Fantasy and Cryptid-Sightnings, but in my project “ probably named Mythika” they have other appearances, abilities, stories and forms, while at least a couple of features remain as in the real myth, rarely they are changed beyond recognition.

Mythology Mythika Monster Folklore Fantasy Cryptid Fantasy World Mythology Project Myth Giant Dragon Dinosaur Horror Game long post

Meet the Constructs of Mythika.

Meet the Constructs of Mythika.

In these upcoming weeks I’m going to post all the main-groups of creatures from Mythika in the group they belong to, with all the information about them I have made up so far.
NOTE that this about the creatures in Mythika and they change a lot with the real mythology, mostly their appearance is the same, but the abilities and behavior is changed. I keep saying this to avoid complications.

The fourth group are the constructs, creatures which were created by other creatures and which most of the time don’t have their own agenda’s but which work by the rules of their creators.
Some constructs however were animated by spirits, demonic entities or magic, these constructs do have a mind of their own and they act as they see fit, still, even these constructs often search for “masters” or other creatures with which they can work together.

Agrippa (French) – Construct / Spirit
- Large animated grimoire books full of evil spells and magic.
- Agrippa are created when grimoire books are possessed by evil demonic spirits, though some Necromancers are also known to bind their spirit to their favorite grimoire instead of their own corpse to become a Lich.
- Necromantic Agrippa focus their pages on necromantic spells, resurrecting undead minions and all types of horrid curses and diseases.
- Some more demonic Agrippa focus their pages on summoning magic, they summon demonic minions from their pages.
- Summon-based Agrippa can absorb killed creatures into their pages, so they can summon them in future battles.
- The common Agrippa can just summon fireballs and other elemental spells from their pages, these Agrippa are the most common, they are mostly formed when evil Warlock bind their souls to their spellbooks.
- Most Agrippa can use their ribbons to grab items like magic wands, they can also hold more melee-based weapons to defend themselves.
- Elder Agrippa’s have absorbed so many creatures into their pages, that they become a one-book’s army when given the chance.
- These book-monsters are often sought out by powerful spellcasters which want their services or which want to have an Agrippa Familiar.

Bubak (Czech) – Construct / Bogey / Spirit
- Horrifying animated scarecrows which are mostly created by Hags such as Nocnitsa.
- They sometimes arise out of their own will when a Bogey-creature dies and it’s corruptive spirit needs a new host, scarecrows are often used for this.
- There are two different kinds of Bubak in Mythika, one has a straw-sack, more traditional Scarecrow head, the other has the head of a pumpkin, much like Jack-O-Lantern.
- Like the bogey they were created from, the Bubak feeds on the fear of its victims.
- A Bubak needs the soul of an Bogey to animate, but after that they also need to find themselves a still-beating heart of a human to keep existing.
- If a Bubak can’t find a fresh heart each month they will perish away and become ordinary scarecrows.
- The Sack-headed Bubak carries with it a large magical sack, in which it stores its mostly young victims, the sack is said to be endless from the inside, its own nightmarish realm.
- The Pumpkin-headed Bubak can dethatch its own head and make it hover on its own, this adds to the scare tactics of these cruel creatures.
- Bubak of all types can summon swarms of crows to their side, they mostly use this ability when they need to flee from a battle that goes against them.

Caleuche (Chilean) – Construct / Spirit
- Large ships possessed and animated by the spirits of their former crew and captain.
- Caleuche are mostly created from Pirate Ships, but any ship lost at sea has a chance to become one of these cursed horrors.
- Caleuche are an ancient curse from the sea probably created by a long forgotten Sea Deity, others think Phorcys or Davy Jones are responsible.
- This creature attacks by shooting cannons on other ships or slamming into other ships, as a Caleuche’s cursed wood will recover from most impacts instantly.
- Fire is the best way to destroy a Caleuche for good, other ways to destroy them only worked temporary as the ships appeared again in full glory some days later from the depts.
- The old crew and captain appear as spirits or phantoms on the ship’s deck, whoever they kill on the Caleuche’s deck will become one of their ghostly crew.
- The most famous Caleuche’s are known as Naglfar, which is made from only bones and The Flying Dutchman which can fly over the waves during a storm.
- Some Caleuche are tamed by Ancient Draugr, these oceanic undead control the ships every movement for then on.
- Caleuche mostly haunt trading routes on sea, so they can sustain a fresh amount of ghostly crew at all times.

Gargoyle (French) – Construct / Spirit
- Animated stone statues with alien, demonic or monstrous forms, that often guard castles and other creepy places.
- The first Gargoyles were created by the Angels to guard over peaceful towns, these Gargoyles animated themselves when they sensed evil in the town.
- After years however, Demons, Sinlords and other evils learned the process of creating Gargoyles and they animated the statues with demonic spirits.
- These evil Gargoyles brought confusion, chaos and death and it didn’t take long for people to turn against their own protectors out of fear.
- Now there are mostly only evil Gargoyles left, they haunt graveyards, urban alleys and are often used as castle decoration and guardians by Moroi Vampires.
- There are countless types of Gargoyles, some look human, others look like beasts and still others look like Dragons. The most common Gargoyles look like demons though.
- While most Gargoyles are created from magical stone or crystal, more rare varieties are created from black, sharp obsidian rock, these Gargoyles use their own bodies as sharp weapons, shredding their victims to pieces and feasting on the carnage they caused.
- Gargoyles have the ability to turn into a full statue, in this state they can fool even the most powerful magic spells and abilities.
- Flying Gargoyles love to pick up their victims and drop them from great heights.
- Obsidian Gargoyles have multiple names, some call them Greater Gargoyles, others call them Grotesque.
- Some Gargoyles can spit water at their enemies, others, mostly found at Moroi castles, can spit diseased blood.

Gold-Digging Ant (M-European) – Construct / Vermin
- While they look like giant ants, these are actually constructs created by the Dactyl to dig for precious metals, especially gold and silver.
- These ants look and behave just like normal, though much bigger, ants, but they are very crafty constructs, created with the most magical of spells and insect parts.
- While once every Ant collected for the Dactyl, after many were created the Dactyl lost count and control over these creatures and many broke free.
- Both wild and controlled Ants dig for precious metals at all times, though the wild ones devour the gold rather than to bring it to the Dactyl.
- When a Gold-Digging Ant devours something, its magical exoskeleton absorbs the material into itself and eventually the material replaces the exoskeleton all together, for this reason most Ants are entirely made from gold, their favorite food.
- Other than Gold, the ants also love to eat silver, platinum and adamantine, ants that regularly feed on adamantine are rare, and much more powerful than their gold and silver brothers and sisters as few weapons can pierce their exoskeleton.
- These ants are extremely hostile when other creatures disturb their space and always attack with the entire colony.
- Thieves and other greedy individuals hunt for these creatures as their exoskeleton can make them very rich.
- These Ants can grow to the size of a large dog.
- There are also Gold-Digging Queens, they are much bigger and they are mostly found among the docile, controlled ants in Dactyl underground cities, these Queens create more new workers and soldiers with each magical metal they are fed.

Hannya (Japanese) – Construct / Spirit / Parasite
- Demonic possessed masks which can possess and control any creature that foolishly wears it.
- These masks from hell will find a suiting host by targeting the weak of will, then they will telepathically assault the victims mind with lies and false promises, until the victim finally gives in and wears the mask.
- Once this horrid mask is put over a fleshy face it will merge with the hosts body and mind, becoming one creature, but with the will of the mask in charge.
- Hannya often target the vain, as they make for easy and willing victims, false promises of beauty and power are all the vain victims get though.
- Like the Rakshasa, Hannya enjoy prosperous and wealthy lives, but they are mostly after fame, as that gives a Hannya most satisfaction of all.
- Once possessed the host will turn into a very dramatic and arrogant murderer, that kills anyone who doesn’t give it the respect it deserves, it’s entire life becomes like a play, full with drama, murder and erotica.
- The most effective way to banish the mask without hurting the host is to assault it with mocks and insults, eventually the mask thinks the host isn’t interesting enough and leaves.
- If a host wears the Hannya for too long, it’s face will be disfigured as the mask slowly feeds on the charisma of the victim.
- Hannya with a host body will feed on the charisma of other humanoids by biting their necks like a vampire, draining the charisma away instead of blood, every bit of charisma drained will make the Hannya more pretty and colorful.

Invunche (Chilean) – Construct / Spirit
- The Invunche or Flesh Golem is a terrifying construct made from the flesh of many different creatures, most are created from the limbs and bodies of humanoids though.
- Each Invunche looks different as they are all created from different parts, some are very small, others are colossal, rivaling dragons and titans in size, these are very rare though.
- In Mythika there are three different models for the Invunche, the first and weakest is that of a medium sized human body with its leg stretched over its back onto its skull, this one looks much like the real myth Invunche, and behaves the same.
- The second most powerful Invunche looks much like the Flesh Golem of D&D, but they are more bizarre as they can rip off body parts of victims and merge them with their own ever-growing deformed bodies, many of these Invunche have multiple arms, heads and legs chaotically placed all over their bodies.
- The most powerful Invunche in Mythika have beastly parts and looks much like this picture: https://78.media.tumblr.com/6a35b601ed01c59d268a86863583d722/tumblr_o70c07v3GF1v9qvuco1_1280.jpg
- Invunche are mostly created by Necromancers to protect their lairs or treasures, all thieves which are killed by the Invunche are later used by the necromancer to create new parts for the current Invunche, or a new Invunche model.
- While Invunche look like sluggish beasts, they are actually very nimble, fast and agile.
- Invunche bring with them a terrible smell of rotting flesh, this gives their enemies a nauseating feeling.

Ittan-Momen (Japanese) – Construct / Spirit
- Created from rolls of cotton and the souls or spirits of strangled or hanged victims, the Ittan-Momen enjoys nothing more than strangling other creatures with its long snake-like forms.
- These creatures only attack gentle souls and they love to serve evil creatures like Warlocks or Moroi, they can sense good and evil with uttermost perfection.
- Ittan-Momen are often found curled around the necks and/or bodies of powerful evil humanoids or creatures, like a living shawl, they are the familiars and pets of some Sinlords.
- This creature has another form of attack, it can spin its body very rapidly and cause fast and effective cuts in its victims.
- After they strangled their victims, some cruel Ittan-Momen use the corpses as playthings, controlling it like a puppet on strings to haunt or torture the loved ones with.

Osschaart (Dutch) – Construct
- Created by the cruel giant Jack-In-Iron to act as his cruel pets, the Osschaart look like mixes of black cats, dogs and bears, their entire bodies are covered in animated chains.
- Osschaart can hover through the air, their chains dangling underneath them like the tentacles of a jellyfish.
- These creatures can decrease and increase the gravity around them through their magical aura’s, turning creatures very light so they will float, or very heavy on the shoulders so they become slow or even unable to move at all.
- Osschaart can control all the chains that make up most of their bodies using the same gravity powers, they use these chains to grab onto their victims and shred them to pieces, but like their master these cruel creatures love to torture and never grant their victims a quick death.
- They mostly haunt lonely roads, dark alley’s or deep forests, their dangling chains making creepy noises as they stalk their prey for hours on end before they finally attack.

Pixiu (Chinese) – Construct / Spirit
- Animated statues of pure gold and greed, these monstrous beings hunt for riches and rich individuals.
- The form of these statues is always that of an otherworldly lion, with a maw that can stretch to impossible lengths to swallow the biggest of treasures whole.
- Inside the Pixiu is portal to the realm of the Sinlord of Greed, Fafnir, all treasures and gold eaten will automatically be transferred to a enormous treasure room, victims which are swallowed with their riches often end up drowning in golden coins and diamonds of all colors.
- Pixiu are designed by Fafnir himself and created and animated by the Dactyl, they are rare creatures but very powerful, when one of them is destroyed another will be created immediately by the Dactyl.
- When destroyed, a Pixiu will implode, the broken parts will be teleported back to the chamber they were created in.
- Pixiu can track treasures from miles away, their body also functions as a big magnet for all types of precious metals and jewelry within their reach.
- You can avoid a fight with these creatures by just handling them all your riches and treasures, otherwise the creature will take if from your corpse or swallow them whole with you.
- Fafnir can talk telepathically through any of his statues, having conversations with other creatures from miles away.

Stymphalian (Greek) – Construct / Avian
- Beautiful crane-like birds made from brass, copper and bronze by an unknown and probably forgotten God of Warfare.
- While they are beautiful, they are also very deadly, their sharp feathers and beaks can pierce most material with ease, and Stymphalians can shoot their feathers like arrows, raining them down on their victims and enemies like a storm of metal.
- They are mostly found in swamps or lakes, feeding on all types of fleshy creatures.
- Like Gold-Digging Ants these creatures look like they are actual beasts, but they are full constructs, perfectly designed to mimic the behavior of water birds.
- Greater Stymphalian, also known as Asipatra, have adamantine feathers, talons and beaks, they are even more dangerous than normal Stymphalians as their feathers can pierce any known armor and magic barrier.
- While these creatures behave and look like mere animals, they are actually very intelligent and cruel creatures, enjoying the pain they cause with their sharp feathers.
- Stymphalian enjoy picking out the eyes of their victims first, they almost dance out of joy as their blinded victims crawl away in pain and terror.
- Many Stymphalians join the Horseman of War in his many battles, raining their feathers over the battlefield and torturing wounded soldiers of all sides.

Terra-Cotta (Chinese) – Construct / Spirit
- Created as a gift for the Horseman of War by Antaeus, they resemble human-sized golems made from Terra-Cotta clay, holding powerful weapons and being animated with the souls of warriors.
- After the Berserkers, the Terra-Cotta are the most numerous soldiers in the Horseman of War’s armies.
- There are many types of Terra-Cotta, the most numerous are the footmen or warriors, they fight with spears, swords or other melee weapons, otherwise they are nothing special.
- Terra-Cotta Archers are the ranged troops in their armies, they are expert archers and are animated with the souls of rangers and archers, they fight with bows and crossbows.
- Next are the Terra-Cotta Mages, which hold powerful spells to repair their fallen Warriors and Archers with, if you want to destroy the Terra-Cotta Armies, it will be wise to take out these mages first.
- Terra-Cotta Mages can also shoot fireballs and chain lightning spells at their enemies, they can grant the stone-skin buff to their non Terra-Cotta allies.
- Mages are animated with the souls of warlocks or sorcerers.
- The most powerful Terra-Cotta’s in every army are the Terra-Cotta Chariots, as long as they are on the battlefields the other Terra-Cotta warriors will fight with more spirit and inspiration, when they are destroyed however the Terra-Cotta’s will lose morale and become less focused in battle.
- Chariots have the spirits of heroes and champions inside of them, being legendary before their death and now also after.
- While most Terra-Cotta fight for the Horseman of War, they also appear in other armies, probably bought by other evils from the Horseman.

Wanyudo (Japanese) – Construct / Spirit
- Cruel torture-mechanisms created by Sinlords and Demon Lords, they look like large burning wheels with two demonic, screaming faces attached to it.
- Wanyudo will crush, pierce and burn their victims at the same time when they roll over them.
- These evil Constructs are fueled by the souls of many tortured humans and demons.
- They are most often encountered in the Abyss, but some Wanyudo used portals to enter Mythika/Earth and started to terrorize lonely roads or burning farms and forests with their hellish flames.
- The more fear they smell, the faster their wheel can roll, so chasing frightened victims is what they do best.
- Some Wanyudo are used as torture devices by Sinlords and other cruel lords, victims are placed on a stone table and pulled apart by two spinning Wanyudo, or they are slowly cut in half by a Wanyudo who hangs above them.
- If the crushing sounds of their wheel isn’t enough to drive you crazy, their ever-screaming faces probably will.

Complete List *UPDATED*

ENEMIES, BOSSES & NEUTRAL ENCOUNTERS.

*= Bosses

Italic = Neutral and Friendly Encounters, these won’t attack your characters unless you attack them first, they will attack your enemies though, and they will also be targeted by enemies, some will reward you with money or treasures when they survive through the battles, others will boost your stats during the battle or heal your wounds, diseases or curses. Their game-sprites look friendly, until you attack them, then they turn different and more feral.

Cephalopod = Not to be confused with the real word, in my project these are mostly Aberrations with tentacles.

THE ELEMENTS OF MYTHIKA

image

Elements always have a big role in roleplaying games, or in any type of game for that matter.

In these coming weeks I’m gonna collect all the monsters from Mythika that have a link to one of the six elements, starting out with the most popular element of fire, I will continue the path with Air Earth Water ShadowLight

Fire, Smoke, Steam, Magma and Heat are all connected with the element of fire, while Steam combines water with fire, magma combines fire with earth and smoke combines air with fire. In Mythika solar rays are fire mixed with light and unholy black fire is a mixture of shadow/darkness and normal fire, and while unholy fire burns like any other fire, the pain is even more intense and can only be healed by holy spells.

Now for all the Enemies and Bosses from Mythika that have links with-and powers over fire, heat, magma, smoke and steam.

NOTE that there are probably other creatures in mythika that have powers over fire in the REAL Myth or Legend, but which I don’t think suit the creatures at all, two I can think of are Khalkotauroi and Pukwudgie, but in Mythika they don’t have any fire abilities, Khalkotauroi are much like D&D’s Gorgon’s and Pukwudgie have powers over voodoo and necromancy, and they can’t throw fireballs of any kind.

VERY STRONG EFFIGY TO FIRE ELEMENT:

image

Cacus – Giants of fire and smoke, these giant humanoids are immune to fire, use it to create their magical weapons in their hellish forges, they can set their armor and weapon on fire with a simple thought.

Candileja – Sometimes when a Hag or Witch is burned a Candileja is born out of pure fiery hatred, they look like a vague spectral version of their former self but made entirely from vile green flames. Candileja use their unholy fire to create painful burns in their victims, being spectral and on fire has many advantages in battles. Candileja can also curse a victim so they take more damage from any other fire attack.

Cherufe – Being magma elementals, the volcanic Cherufe have command over both fire and earth, eruptions and earthquakes are their specialty. They are naturally immune to heat, fire and magma and can shape into any object or form they desire.

Curupira – The Gnomes of Fire, these pyromaniacs are normally not very evil, until they spot a flame, then their insanity takes over and they want to spread the flames, their bright red hair turns into fire the moment they spot a flame. They can control and animate fire, but on a much lower level than the Ifrit can. Fire seems to come to life when a Curupira is near, this is called Pyrotechnics. When there is no fire around the Curupira are powerless as they can’t create fire themselves.

Enenra – Creatures of vengeance and smothering smoke the Enenra are natural half-fire and half air elementals. They can control smoke and enter their victims lungs to choke them from within. Their ash and smoke forms also burn the skin of other creatures that are trapped within them.

Gaasyendietha – The fire dragons of Mythika, these meteor alien dragons can breathe unnatural fire upon their enemies, even creatures otherwise immune to normal fire will get burned. They can summon small swarms of burning rocks from the sky as well and they are fully immune to any form of heat and fire.

Ifrit – The true lords of everything fiery, all genies are masters of their own element. Ifrit command fire with their mind, summoning giant beasts and monsters made entirely from fire. They create giant swords and hammers made from fire out of thin air and control most other creatures based on fire. Their favorite fire elementals to summon are giant bats and lions made from flames and heat.

Muscaliet – Very little chimerae with features of squirrels, badgers and the tusks of a boar. Muscaliet are small but very dangerous as their bodies are very hot, this often leads to forest fires and awe full burning wounds on any creatures they touch. Given time these small pests will burn through any metal, so trapping them inside iron cages can be tricky.

Salamander – These Dimetrodon-like salamanders of heat and cold control the temperature around them, turning the landscape around them very frigid cold by absorbing all heat or extremely hot by expelling the heat they absorbed. They are immune to most forms of fire and can even swim in lava.

Basan – These terror birds are magical offspring of the Tuyango with burning qualities. Their fire is special as it burns even spectral creatures and ghosts. They can spit out their ghostly blue flames at their enemies, burning not their flesh but their very souls.

Ziburinis – The most evil of Fire Elementals is the undead fire elemental called Ziburinis, created from the souls of burned humans these black and red flames love to enter the bodies of other creatures and possess them for as long as they can, then their own hatred burns itself out of the host and leaves behind nothing more than cursed ashes. Being burned from the inside out by these horrors is said to be the most painful death of all.

Surtr – The Titan of Fire, his abilities are pretty much advanced version of his minions the Cacus. Surtr is an unique boss creature, and he’s the boss of the fire temple, you fight him together with a Cacus giant and a Ifrit summoner.

STRONG EFFIGY TO FIRE ELEMENT:

Butatsch – These abominable and alien oozes are covered in hungry mouths and fake eyes, from these eyes they can shoot rays of superheated liquid, the creatures seem to be full with this burning liquid.

Chimera – Chimera burn with fire from within, one of their two heads can breath fire and the poison from their snake-tail head also burns their prey from within. When you kill one of these Chimeric horrors they explode into a swarm of fiery fireballs, burning everything foolish to slay one of these with melee weapons.

Delgeth – The Anaye closely related to fire, their powerful hooves will leave a trail of burning cinders and fire whenever they go.

Garm – The bites of these hellhounds are hotter than hell itself.

Cerberus – The bites of these three-headed hounds of hell are even worse than those of the smaller Garm. The burning pain won’t go away without very powerful magic.

Kasha – Kasha use their nine fiery souls/lives to animate the corpses collected in their small burning chariot, the result are burning zombies that follow every command from the Kasha that animated them with Its own soul, when destroyed the Kasha regains its soul and can animate a new fiery corpse if there is one.

Pyrausta – While these insect drakes can’t breathe fire themselves, they must feed on fire every week to stay alive. Their heart is like a small little ember.

Wanyudo – These strange demonic constructs of torture and pain look like wheels with the head of a demonic monster forged upon it, they can set their wheel on fire with a thought, so being crushed by them means both your bones and skin is harmed.

Alastor – The Sinlord of Wrath has a close effigy with fire, his weapons are always on fire and he can summon powerful fireballs from his hands, he can also create walls of fire to block the escape route of his victims. Alastor is a Boss.

Hel – This Goddess boss has both control of ice and fire, half her body controls fire and the other half controls the cold and ice. Hell is Boss.

Horseman of War – Like Famine is closely related to water, death to earth and pestilence to air so is War related to burning angry fires of war. The Horseman of War is a boss.

MINOR INVOLVEMENT WITH THE ELEMENT OF FIRE:

image

Aatxe – Aatxe are big spiritual bulls that burn with the fire of pure vengeance, they burn their victims by running through them.

Ahkiyyini – When these ogre-sized skeletons play their infernal war-drums or violins, nature around it goes berserk, all elements (including fire and magma) seems to come alive and attack the enemies of the musical skeletal horror.

Aitvaras – The gaze of these cockatrice-like drakes not only curses the victim with despair and misfortune, but it also has a chance to combust a victim in flames. Their tail and rooster-crown are both made from fire as well.

Brobinyak – These dragon ogres look like big lizardmen with dragon wings and faces, they can breathe out fire.

Cucay – Their pumpkin faces burn with sinister flames which they can shoot at their prey in the form of a fireball.

Dragon Turtle – These oversized dragonic turtles can breathe out hot steam at their victims.

Empusa – Instead of hair these insect-ladies with the legs and arms of a mantis have green fire burning on top of their heads.

Gloson – These undead razor-pigs can breathe out fire from their nostrils.

Kurage-No-Hinotama – Some variants of these land-based hovering jellyfish monsters are on fire, their poisonous tentacles burn everything trapped within them.

Lampad – Their torches burn with purple fire which causes madness and sadness in their victims. Otherwise these underground shadow nymphs have much more in common with Shadow Elements.

Marool – These deep-sea angler-fish horrors can summon will-o-wisp like eyes from their bodies to lure ships and sailors to their doom, their back is always on fire but they cannot do anything with that in combat.

Poludnica – While more connected with the Light Element (which I post later) these harvest, fire, sun and heatstroke nymphs have a burned face and the solar rays they summons are also very hot and burn the skin of their victims.

Stella – The poison of this starfish horror burns the veins from within their prey, burning them from within.

Decarabia – Same as Stella, but a much bigger crown-of-thorns starfish and worse poison effect.

Tlanusi – These oversized leech horrors can turn the water around them very hot and shoot hot geysers at their prey.

Zmey – One of the three heads of this sin-dragon is immune to fire and can breath out fire.

Balaur – Only one of the seven sin-riddled heads of the Balaur can shoot fire, the others breath out other elements and curses. Each of Balaurs seven heads resembles its own sin.

Andras – The only thing this raven-headed, wolf-riding right hand of Alastor has in common with fire is its fire sword. Andras is Boss.

Arzshenk – This demonic minotaur Div is immune to fire and heat. Arzshenk is a Boss.
