Arzella

Patrons say "all the food is delicious" and the outdoor space is "amazing".

Run by the same family since the 1980s, Arzella is a long-established name on Marsalforn’s waterfront. This local favourite was recently refurbished and offers comfortable dining spaces, whatever the weather. The restaurant’s inviting interior is reverse air-conditioned, and the large terrace area is covered with a retractable roof and windows which control the shade and breeze. With quality fittings, soft jazz music, warm lighting, and unobtrusive service, the atmosphere is both stylish and relaxing. The star feature though, is the view. On a corner setting and high ground, the restaurant layout really maximises its enviable 180-degree sea views.

The restaurant’s position by the fishing harbour and long relationship with local fishermen has given Arzella a reputation for great fish cookery. You’ll find Maltese favourites, Italian-influenced meat and pasta options. If you can’t decide, the kitchen is happy to combine dishes such as the popular Antipasti Misti and fish crudo to make delicious sharing platters. Fresh fish are always an option, whilst meat eaters can choose between crowd pleasers like rib eye steaks and spare ribs. We should also reassure regulars that the famous Spaghetti Arzella seafood pasta is still on the menu!
