Salema
Salema is one of the prettiest and least spoilt traditional fishing villages in Western Algarve, Portugal. The single narrow street of the old part of the village runs down the hill to a beautiful, sheltered beach of golden sand, which offers safe bathing, ideal for children.
Within easy reach of the honey-coloured coves of the south coast and just a few miles from the splendid surfing beaches of the west coast, with magnificent sunsets. Western Algarve really has something for everyone – whatever the season – and Angels View offers that bit of luxury and comfort which many holiday homes seem to lack.
Useful info about Salema:
- The gentle waves provide safe and fun family swimming, voted the 2nd safest beach in Europe.
- Everything you need is no more than a five minute walk away from Angels View.
- Salema provides excellent sunbathing April – September.
- Ideal base for families, surfers and golfers.
- The fishing boats launch from the beach.
- Some restaurants are open all year; others have a break in the depths of winter.
- A great location for an out of season break.
