A wonderful plant, extremely rare in gardens, rather only in botanical gardens. It forms a spherical, rosette-shaped base composed of lanceolate, white-hairy, veined leaves 15 - 25 cm long. From spring to summer, dense, cylindrical tops up to 1.5 m long (under favorable conditions), composed of navy blue - purple, funnel-shaped flowers appear. The plant can grow up to 2 m in height (under favorable conditions). It is an unusual and very rare plant valued by beekeepers for its high pollen and nectar content. It comes from the Canary Islands, it is a beautiful plant that looks like a tower of navy blue and purple flowers. A beautiful column of a thousand flowers, which can be up to 30 cm thick, grows from the rosette of leaves. It grows best in full sun, in rather dry and not too moist soil. The plant can be grown indoors and outdoors (tolerates frosts down to -5 ° C, requires covering for the winter).

Sowing seeds and growing:

Sowing seeds throughout the year, the seedbed should be very loose (good material for the substrate is pellet or gravel with sand), cover the seeds with a thin layer of substrate. Sprinkle the sowing and cover it with a damp cloth and then put it in a warm place.
