Corvo is back, and he's better than ever. The latest trailer for Dishonored 2 puts a spotlight on the returning hero, Corvo Attano, and his deadly abilities.

In Dishonored 2, players will be able to choose from the Emily Kaldwin, the rightful heir to the throne or her royal protector, Corvo, in the Arkane Studios action-adventure game. The duo needs to head to Karnaca and find a way to restore the Empress back on her throne and defeat the usurper.

The video below shows off some of Corvo's new and improved abilities. Creative Director Harvey Smith and Lead Designer Dinga Bakab give us Corvo's motivations and break down his new powers for us. For Corvo, the trip to Karnaca is more of a homecoming but things have drastically changed since he's left.

One of Corvo's new skills includes possession, which allows him to physically inhabit the bodies of unsuspecting guards or animals. The upgraded version of that ability will even let you hop from body to body and even corpses. As creepy as this move sounds, it seems like it might be effective for anyone wanting to make a stealthy approach.

Short-ranged teleportation, Blink, is back. Our hero can use his time-bending powers while blinking and can redirect himself in a new direction while stopping time. This opens up new possibilities in combat and movement. Devouring Swarm summons a swarm of rats that can consume any dead bodies you leave behind. An upgraded swarm can summon two packs of rats to follow you around.

Dishonored 2 launches worldwide on November 11th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. If you pre-order at select retailers, will let you play the game a day before it comes out. Make sure to check out our preview of Dishonored 2 to see how Emily fairs against some menacing Clockwork Soldiers.
