Brig. Gen. Roger P. Suro is the Mobilization Assistant to the Director of Operations, Strategic Deterrence, and Nuclear Integration, Headquarters U.S. Air Forces in Europe and U.S. Air Forces Africa, Ramstein Air Base, Germany. He assists the Director in oversight of a headquarters staff and the 603rd Air Operations Center, providing integrated air and missile defense, aeromedical evacuation, space and cyberspace operations, aerial refueling, weather, combat aerial delivery, operational support airlift, distinguished visitor airlift, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance, and precision strike in the European and African Commands.
Brig. Gen. Suro was commissioned in 1989 as a graduate of the United States Naval Academy. After 11 years in the active component, Brig. Gen. Suro joined the Air Force Reserves in 2000. Prior to his current position, he served as the Mobilization Assistant to the Commander, Third Air Force, Ramstein AB, Germany.
