Tonn M. Ostergard
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Crete Carrier Corporation
Tonn Ostergard earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Owner/President Management Program.
Ostergard began his career at Crete Carrier Corporation in 1985 and has held numerous leadership roles. He was elected chair and chief executive officer of Crete Carrier in 2016.
He serves as chair of the board of directors for the Ameritas Mutual Holding Company and serves on the board of directors for Ameritas Life Insurance Corp. Ostergard is also chair of the Ameritas Executive committee. He is a member of the Ameritas Nominating and Corporate Governance and Ameritas Compensation committees.
Ostergard serves on the board of directors for Union Bank and Trust Company, NEBCO, the American Trucking Association and Nebraska Innovation Campus Development. He is also a trustee and past chairman of the University of Nebraska Foundation. Ostergard is a Nebraska Society of Certified Public Accountants and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants member. He is a member and past chairman of the Young President’s Organization.
