Donzella Lawrence Anderson was born on July 27,1961 in Johnson City, Tn to the late David Lee Lawrence and Donzella Lawrence. She transitioned to her heavenly home on December 29,2022 at Vanderbilt Bedford Hospital in Shelbville, Tennessee where she was surrounded by her loved ones.
Donzella completed school in the Inglewood Unified School system in Inglewood, CA. She later relocated to Columbia TN where she dedicated her life to Christ under the leadership of the late Bishop Charlene Ogilvie.
Thereafter, she met the love of her life and soul mate: Terry Wayne Anderson in 1992. They were later married in holy matrimony in 1997. One of her many inspirations was cheering on her devoted husband, “Terry Golden Gloves Anderson”, in his successful boxing career. Wherever Terry went, Donzella went. Wherever Donzella went, Terry went. They had an unconditional, unshakeable love for each other. She loved her all of her King Terry and He love all of his Queen Donzella. A loving marriage that exemplified the true meaning of love without boundaries. A love that stood the test of time.
Throughout her life experiences, she faced diverse adversities. She was truly a “Go Getter”, who despite her struggles and life’s obstacles pressed forward with an unforgettable smile and an unyielding heart. Donzella left her mark on the world with a genuine heart that was sealed with a smile, which was expressed in her FAITH and her Determined Spirit as an “Overcomer”. She proved to herself and those who proudly watched her that she was one who was motivated to thrive and to be nothing short of successful.
