Mary Elizabeth Linard-Klamar, age 52, of Lancaster, OH died Sunday, October 25, at her residence. Preceded in death by parents Frederick and Mary Louise Linard, and brother Hank Linard. Survived by husband Dr. Jan E. Klamar; son Spence Linard; daughter Nicole Klamar; step children Courtney and Drew Klamar; brothers Brady (Debbie), Jim (Christie), and Frank (Tammy); sisters Patti (Conrad) Marsili; Judy Rourke; and Amy (Don) Hura; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graduate of Bishop Ready High School and Franklin University. Worked at Mt. Carmel West Hospital for 14 years. President of the Upper Arlington Hockey Assn. and the UA Garden Council. Board member of Capital Area Hockey Assn. Member of the UA Tree Commission and Twin Rivers Garden Club. Founded and volunteered at the Central Ohio chapter of Operation Smile. Family will receive friends 4-7pm Friday, October 30, 2015, at the Schoedinger Midtown Chapel, 229 East State St. Memorial service 2pm Saturday, October 31, at the Klamar residence in the riding arena, 1600 Hamburg Rd SW, Lancaster, OH. Please wear warm, comfortable, casual clothing for the outdoor service.
