Thought the buffets at St Julian’s restaurant Fra Martino couldn’t get any better? Think again.

Housed within the iconic Corinthia St George’s Bay, this eatery’s dedicated team of chefs has just started serving up two special feasts per week.

The first, taking place every Friday, is dedicated to Maltese cuisine, hence why it’s been dubbed ‘A Taste of Malta’.

This buffet extravaganza features some local classics as well as some lesser known but just as beloved dishes.

Without giving too much away, you can expect to enjoy some traditional fish soup (aljotta), baked macaroni (timpana), pan-fried swordfish (pixxispad), beef olives (bragjoli) as well as imqaret and zeppoli for dessert.

On Saturdays, guests are taken on a trip to North America – specifically to the Caribbean – for a special barbeque night.

Dishes vary from coconut and chili soup to beef kebabs marinated in ginger and black pepper and chicken thighs with chili and plum oil, amongst many others.

As if all this isn’t tempting enough, patrons can enjoy their beautiful meal al fresco with a gorgeous view of the bay and the cool evening air.

Fra Martino is open between 7pm and 10pm. To reserve a table, kindly call +356 2370000. Patrons can also benefit from free parking facilities on the premises.
