Aida Victoria Merlano generated tremendous stir with the birthday party she celebrated last Thursday, April 21, because as expected the event was loaded with quite a lot of drama, considering that among her guest list there were names such as Yina Calderón and Lina Tejeiro, who had already had problems in the past.

However, far from the controversy and conflicts that broke out during the celebration, the controversy continued in the following days, thanks to a publication that did the young barranquilla to show the gifts and money she received from some attendees, as well as to expose those who did not give her anything.

Merlano received so much criticism for these statements, that hours later he decided to retract, delete the publication and apologized to those who might be upset with his words, even though he says he is not interested in being “politically correct”.

Later, she added that she was “unempathetic” and “light” with those who took the trouble to take out their own money to give it some detail, so she reiterated that she should never have exposed them to that trial.

While on the question of whether she values the most expensive and the least ostentatious gifts equally, Aida Victoria Merlano replied that this is of no importance to her.

What the daughter of Aida Merlano Rebolledo (a former Colombian congressman captured in Venezuela) did decide to reserve was the amount she paid for that celebration, since she says she does not want to arouse even more controversy, which hinted that she was quite the money she spent.

Aida Victoria Merlano apologizes to the guests at her birthday party

Her best friend gave her a Carolina Herrera branded card holder that she boasted in several Instagram stories; while Naldy, her former suitor, gave her a Burberry fanny pack valued at $900 ($3′400,000), after he had given her a Moschinno bag that she didn't like.

Yina Calderón, on the other hand, arrived at the party with a Mario Hernández bag (which costs 1′299,000 pesos) and several bottles of rum, although some say that she drank most of the liquor before arriving, because the show that passed through drinks was quite a lot.

Other guests gave Aida Victoria Merlano envelopes full of money, some with sums of 1 or 2 million pesos (including Lina Tejeiro) and others who, without revealing the specific amount, gave her a much larger amount.
