I BELIEVE

…that the stories told within our art are always relevant and relatable. They’re the themes that play out in our daily lives and we use our art as a means of communication. I use my creativity to guide you through.

I CREATE INSPIRATIONAL ART + HERE’S WHY

I create because I believe that the best way that we all learn is through play.

We’re not just entertainers…we’re educators and leaders…this is our space to do this.

I believe that it’s important for us, as an artist community, to make collective decisions and hold important conversations that benefit us all wholly and equally. I will continue to show up, ready to learn and unlearn, in order to further understand my role of becoming an ally. I will actively listen, actively learn and actively pursue the work of anti-racism, anti-transphobia, anti-homophobia and against all ways that discrimination presents itself.

VOICEOVER

My voiceover work is an extension of my theatrical experience. When I’m behind the mic, I’m still stepping into the role, creating the scenery around me, using my voice to set the scenery.

My vocal style offers friendly, easy listening with clear diction. Bright, warm and sunny, engaging, witty, conversational or more serious, dynamic reads - I got you.

ACTOR

When I was 7 years old, I remember my answer being “an actor” for an elementary school “What do you want to be when you grow up?” assignment. I knew early on that this would be my path. On stage has always been where I’ve felt the most comfortable…the tuning of the instruments, the warmth from the lights, the feeling that I get every time tha big, red curtain draws back is truly like no other. I’ve had the honor of traveling the world in many fulfilling roles on stages in beautiful theatres. Some of my favorite credits include Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray in Concert with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (starring John Waters), Jan in Grease and Cathy in The Last 5 Years.

SINGER

As a vocal performance artist, it’s always been important to me to learn how to be a well-rounded singer. I’ve always wanted to understand how it all works, how my body comes together and how it should feel to perform in a healthy way. I’ve been studying with my coach Scott Mello since 2006, and throughout these many continued years of work together, he has continually challenged me to practice outside of my comfort zone.

WHAT THEY’RE SAYING

“She’s an Italian girl from Jersey City, New Jersey, and she’s perfect for the show. She’s five feet tall and has a smile that lights up the entire room. When she sings, ‘Good Morning, Baltimore,’ your day is 10 times better. I was so glad when she accepted the contract because she’s adorable and has a great personality. She’s just like Tracy and wins everyone over in the show.”

"Right from the outset, 'Good Morning Baltimore' sets the bar high for energy, and the cast delivers. As Tracy Turnblad, the irrepressible teen with the large-than-life personality to match her frame, Laura Marie Rondinella is the beating heart of this production, whether singing the endearing 'I Can Hear The Bells,' the darling duet with love interest Link, 'It Takes Two,' or the triumphant 'You Can't Stop The Beat'...Don't miss the opportunity to enjoy another of New Bedford Festival Theatre's highly polished productions."
