Pureon to Introduce SQUADRO-G2 – The Next Evolution in Glass Processing

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our latest innovation, SQUADRO-G2 – a milestone in the world of glass processing. Building on the success of SQUADRO-G, this new-generation product will revolutionize the industry with its remarkable features and benefits.

Due to a new manufacturing process, SQUADRO-G2 allows for flexible realization of all sizes of diameters, providing unprecedented versatility: The new generation product enables our customers to transform from a “loose abrasive” lapping process to the much cleaner “fixed abrasive” grinding process – reducing costs and process complexity.

Pureon’s SQUADRO-G2 allows on-the-fly lubricant use for cost-effectiveness and cleaner disposal. Especially in combination with our lubricant SQUADRO-LUB+, it achieves very high stock removal rates and is extremely environmentally friendly. The new generation product enables comparable planarity, surface quality and precise edges.

Enhanced performance and remarkable service life

SQUADRO-G2 is offered in various diamond grit sizes, providing exceptional and consistent stock removal rates. It features impressive durability, high planarity, excellent surface quality, and superior edge sharpening. When compared directly to other products, SQUADRO-G2 demonstrates a significantly enhanced removal rate.

One of the standout features of SQUADRO-G2 is its 50 percent increase in the grinding layer compared to the first generation, ensuring an already exceptional service life gets even better. This new addition to the SQUADRO family is designed to cater to a wide range of industries and customers working with glass materials, including optical glasses, BK7, quartz glass, glass ceramics, crystalline and brittle glassy materials.
