Mount Rainier, Snoqualmie Falls, and the Columbia River Gorge are all well-known natural wonders in the state of Washington. As popular as they are beautiful, each offers unique and extraordinary views. Of course, there are some lesser-known natural wonders that we’d be willing to guess you may not have heard of. One such place is the Bogachiel Rain Forest. Perhaps not as widely traveled as the Hoh and Quinault, this hidden natural wonder in Washington is a quiet forest retreat waiting to be explored.
Bogachiel Rainforest Trail requires a Wildnerness Pass for overnight use. As with all trails, preparation is essential. Pack plenty of water and snacks, and respect the land by staying on marked trails and packing out anything you pack in.
Have you visited the Bogachiel Rainforest? Which trails did you explore? We’d love to hear about your experience in the comments.
