Welcome to the Pixton Covid-19 stories webpage! We asked students and teachers from Canada and the USA to submit their stories about their experiences during the pandemic. This is a small collection of those stories.

Students missed out on internships they'd worked for.
People began to appreciate what they'd previously taken for granted.
The city that never sleeps, went to sleep!
Teachers experienced heightened stress due to the pandemic.
Distractions made teaching more difficult.

Trips had to be cancelled.
Some families had both teachers and students doing school virtually.
Due to illness, some students didn't get to go back to school when theirs reopened.
Students witnessed others ignoring pandemic guidelines.
Some experienced identity crises along with stress.
Although grateful for front line workers, some people felt like they were trapped in jail.
Whole families suffered through illness.
Some families were hit by Hurricane Laura while living through the pandemic.
It was a struggle for some to feel any emotions.
One student took the opportunity to learn about politics.
Some lost focus and had a hard time being productive.
Boredom lead to finding new hobbies for some.
Dance classes are not easy to take virtually!
During quarantine, some people got to know themselves better.
A war between a virus and us.
Some students were okay with staying virtual, for the greater good.
Some students had to be confined away from their families.
Some students ran with their creativity!
Covid spread through families.
Students experienced eye pain from long periods of looking at screens.
Lack of connection almost caused some to be swallowed up by anxiety and depression.
Switching schools is extra hard on students during a pandemic.
Some kids lost two family members.
Everyone is still getting used to living like this.
Music helped some resilient students hold it together.
Students miss many aspects of in person school.
This has not been as easy as a lot of people expected.
