Mike M A brilliantly written, directed and acted series that takes the audience through some complex philosophical concepts, whilst at the same time relating them to the turbulent lives of the students coming to terms with their sexual identities and the challenges of student life. A serious and successful attempt to show the relevance of philosophy to everyday life. And it confronts the tangled web of sexual desires and relationships head-on. A liberated and liberating series! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/19/23 Full Review Sean Patrick N What a finding. I haven't seen Merlí, I have to say. And I've heard it is even better. But I just loved this series. So much. It's refreshing and wholesome and just feels like a comfortable place on a rainy day. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/23/22 Full Review Wm. Douglas E Homosensual, intelligent, steamy, beautifully done! I hope Netflix carries all the seasons in English! <3 <3 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/26/22 Full Review Audience Member An upbeat comedy drama centered on a handsome bisexual philosophy student and his circle of friends, family and teachers. With a cast so loveable, you'll wish you were back in college discussing Kant and hedonism with them, the show is funny, sexy and sometimes heartbreaking. Can't ask for more. Joel Keller Decider Sapere Aude has an easygoing vibe about it that could lull some viewers to sleep, but its first episode establishes its ensemble pretty well, which is a good sign that the show will get better as its first season progresses.
