Description
One of the most asked about plants in our garden, this has intense, almost glittery, brilliant pink baby leaves which look dazzling in a mixed leaf salad. We also pick them for edible posies with nasturtiums and borage. Chenopodium self-seeds prolifically so keep harvesting the plants before they flower, or whip them out to feed to hens or put on the compost before they run to seed.
Care Tips
This plant will set seed in the garden so you will have it for many years – some would say too much so!
