Ranunculus trilobus (Ranunculaceae) 1:18

Ranunculus trilobus (Large Annual Buttercup) is an uncommon weed that grows in damp roadside ditches in the Derwent Valley. It has slender, stems up to 80cm long. The lower leaves are trifoliate, up to 6cm wide and long, and on petioles up to 15 cm long. It has abundant, small, golden-yellow flowers with no more than 5 petals. The five sepals are reflexed.
