Description
A short, smooth plant. The stems are simple or branched, reddish in colour. Grows near the sea as well as inland.
The latex of all Euphorbias can cause skin rash.
Flowers
Cyathia: 5 rays. Bracts diamond shaped, yellowish-green. The glands have 2-4 horns.
Leaves
Linear narrow blade leaf, like grass, Lanceolate leaf is lance-shaped: long and widest in the middle. Narrow, wider in the middle, pointed.
Fruits Seeds
Capsule: round, grainy, 2.5-3 mm.
