<strong>RONCO</strong>’s security services division was formed in 2003 to support our humanitarian demining<br />

projects in Afghanistan and Iraq. We expanded in 2005 to incorporate threat assessment and<br />

security recommendations for distinctive operational circumstances. <strong>RONCO</strong> specializes in:<br />

Security Services for NATO Maintenance and Supply Agency<br />

<strong>RONCO</strong> provided security vetting services for local national candidates applying for employment<br />

at the NATO Maintenance and Supply Agency facility. <strong>RONCO</strong>’s 13-man SVS team - seven<br />

investigative officers and six interpreters, fluent in Dari,<br />

Pashtu, Persian, and numerous other languages -<br />

processed 1,100 local nationals each month. <strong>RONCO</strong><br />

conducted interviews with prospective candidates,<br />

and provided interpretation and counter-intelligence<br />

services at Kandahar Airfield. Throughout the first year<br />

in operation, the SVS team also supported Kandahar<br />

Airfield’s Force Protection Unit as assigned, including<br />

the enrollment of more than 1,000 bazaar vendors,<br />

truck drivers, and temporary laborers.<br />

Personal Security Detail Training for Afghan National Security Forces<br />

A critical part of maintaining the stability and security of Afghanistan is protecting key leaders.<br />

To ensure maximum effectiveness, the Afghan National Security Forces required professionally<br />

trained Personal Security Detachment personnel. <strong>RONCO</strong> developed a comprehensive PSD<br />

operations training curriculum, including programs of<br />

instruction, lesson plans, and support packages. Each<br />

class accommodated 100 students and lasted six<br />

weeks, for a total of 264 training hours, and followed<br />

US Army procedures and standards. <strong>RONCO</strong>’s<br />

capability to conduct train-the-trainer and individual<br />

soldier training has proven vital in supporting ANSF<br />

PSD personnel on weapons systems, communication<br />

systems, and up-armored vehicles.

Local Guard Services in Kabul<br />

The recent re-establishment of a United States Mission<br />

in Kabul required the operation of a highly-trained,<br />

professional security force. <strong>RONCO</strong> provides Detection<br />

Dog Handlers to protect life and property, prevent<br />

unauthorized access, maintain order, and deter criminal<br />

activity in and around the US Mission. detection teams<br />

carry out standard and emergency services, screen<br />

personnel and vehicles, and prevent unauthorized<br />

weapons and explosives from entering Embassy grounds<br />

24-hours a day. <strong>RONCO</strong> recruits, trains, and manages the<br />

canine security force, and provides managerial, administrative, and technical personnel to plan<br />

and execute security requirements.<br />

of passes and identification cards, full<br />

searches, and close control over temporary<br />
